Gabriel Albert was born around 1710 in Normandy. He married Angélique Geneviève Bouthillier in 1751 in Gaspésie where he worked. When this region burned down during the Deportation, Gabriel went to Caraquet. He, his wife and 3 children were found to be in the Caraquet region during the census of 1783.
