Jean-Claude D’Amours, politician, was born in Edmundston in 1972. He was the federal Member of Parliament for Madawaska-Restigouche in New Brunswick from 2004 to 2011. In 2018, he was elected Member of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick. Brunswick for the electoral division of Edmundston-Madawaska-Center.
